About
Heba Amin is an artist whose work addresses the role of the urban environment on human behavior. She was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, a city which highly influenced and provoked her interest in urban infrastructure and its affect on people.
Heba's work has been presented in Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York, and Washington D.C at various galleries including Intermedia Arts, the Phipps Center for the Arts, the Anne C. Fisher Gallery, and A Ramona Studio, among others. She was recently commissioned to illustrate award-winning "Extraordinary Women in the Muslim World", a children's book that profiles women role models from the Muslim World (www.extraordinarywomen.tv).
Heba is currently teaching at the American University in Cairo.
